I would like to see exactly how much it's unbalanced via Musicus_Meter_(5e_Guideline). --95.71.23.40 02:35, 18 October 2024 (MDT)
- You can try to play with numbers on the homebrew meterall you want, but this design inherently goes against the 5e race design of eschewing the intense min-maxing that defined the 3.X edition. You can see this design philosophy in how negatives for races like orcs were removed in subsequent versions. It's an idea of false balance. There's also lots of things that don't make sense and are not defined, like "Mutant Fey" and "Spirit Darkthorn." Not to mention the 2 immunities and 2 resistances already also exceed any standards by first-class content... which again should be used for proper comparison and not just a homebrew meter.--Yanied (talk) 15:20, 5 November 2024 (MST)
- If you're telling me, what min-maxed and hyper-customizable races should better fit in 3e and 3.5e... Are there any 3e and 3.5e equivalent of Musicus Meter - a meter measuring how min-maxed and munchkinish a race is? Something like Musicus_Meter_(3e_Guideline) and Musicus_Meter_(3.5e_Guideline). --95.71.103.175 19:54, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
Now what they're fixed - what is their Musicus Meter? --User 12345 (talk) 17:49, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- Their current Musicus Meter score as of the 6th November-posted version is: Ability Boosts (+3), Tiny (-2), Darkvision (0.5), Integrated Filter (0.5), Light Sensitivity (-0.25), Mutant Resilience (1), Natural Climber (1.5), thus has a total of about 4.25, which is admittedly not very high. This could probably be a bit stronger as a race, and admittedly I likely nerfed it a bit too much. --RobinTheGemini 4:35, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
