Talk:Hand Cannon, Variant (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
I think it's a bit much to say that this weapon should be siege equipment as opposed to a regular weapon. This pirate cannon was obviously designed as a personal weapon with some decent drawbacks to make up for its power. The cannon itself is heavy, the ammunition is heavy, and failing a strength check knocks the user prone. I feel it's a decently balanced weapon, with great potential in a piracy based campaign.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.203.17.226 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.
- A quick search shows that a pirate cannon weighed around ~1,200 lbs total. However the content on this page seems to be trying to frame a pirate cannon as something it is not (a hand cannon). As such, something needs to be done to address this, so I will be moving this page so it has a more appropriate name.--Blobby383b (talk) 17:11, 6 December 2021 (MST)
