Some questions/concerns/suggestions

  • What happens to heavy armor when you increase density? Since it is the highest armor type. The same can be asked for light armor when the density is decreased.
  • "A creature that falls" should be changed to reference falling damage specifically
  • How are weapons with only one damage dice supposed to be affected by decrease density? Do they deal 0 damage?
  • Rather than advantage or disadvantage on ranged attacks for density, doesn't affecting the range make more sense? It's not like firing a super light arrow doesn't also potentially affect your accuracy in a negative way.
  • Gravity well is just straight up a buffed version of the official one.
  • Alter Entanglement is interesting but a bit messy. That is a lot of checks and the wording doesn't really say if they stop moving through other obstacles. Also, you are also within range of this thing, I think?
    • The whole idea that if one succeeds the check but the other doesn't and still ends up smashing into the success with the success taking no damage is a bit weird if you think about how that looks.
  • This thing gets 2 14-level features... and neither are exactly small things.

This page needs some links, wording, and overall cleanup with some cull towards that heavy back end of 14th level features.--Yanied (talk) 19:39, 11 July 2023 (MDT)

  • An extra 1d10 bludgeoning damage via Increase Density would trivialize early game combat when in the hands of martial players, such as Barbarians and Fighters. Potentially dealing more than 20 damage every round is a lot at level 2.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by DAKKA (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.
