Experiments in Non-Humanoid Forms[edit]
The purpose of creating this race was to see if a balanced and fun to play race could be created that was in no way humanoid in form, and also to make an elemental race, since the wiki is lacking in elemental races. So, of course there were some snags, trying to figure ways around simple things like not having arms and legs. Most of the racial abilities were borrowed from various SRD sources and modified to fit the context (gargoyles, minotaurs, earth elementals, and undead come to mind as sources). Anyways, the balance is a bit sketchy at the moment, as the race is still yet incomplete. However, any feedback I get on this would be awesome. The race has yet to be "oh look, I excel at this role for characters or classes" to make it playable. --Ganteka 00:28, 10 May 2009 (MDT)
Question[edit]
I know nothing of elementals, do they need to breathe? --Hatman 12:16, 12 May 2009 (MDT)
- "Elementals do not eat, sleep, or breathe." --Ganteka 21:10, 12 May 2009 (MDT)
Dragonfire Adept a playable class?[edit]
I love this race and I talked to my DM and he is allowing me to use it in our game. I chose a Dragonfire Adept so I was wondering how would I use my breath weapon, since a Geode dosnt breath, how would this work? I think that it would act in the same manor of the eyes, since he has none he can see perfectly from any point in his body. Would that work? Mega0live 05:58, 9 December 2011 (MST)
