Talk:Fundamental Force Fighter (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
This class may have a bit of a scientific theme behind it but I advise you that it won't be entirely accurate. Trying to fit these concepts into a D&D environment will not be entirely factual. There will probably be some rather large liabilities taken with some of the science to create what will hopefully be an interesting class. You have been warned. --CookieLink (talk) 14:56, 2 April 2020 (MDT)
First, i love the concept! I'm not sure if this is a working in progress or not, but i'll give my take on it either way, concerning the first levels (1 and 2).
The 1st and 2nd level should define the core traits of the class. Fighters gain action surge at that level; Paladins have their smites; Rogues have both cunning action and sneak strike. This class, however, only gain a fighting style (useful feature, but generic) and spellcasting. Spellcasting helps define the class through the spell list, but this class is not a full caster, so it needs to be defined by features other than spells.
You could maybe add 2 core features, one at 1st level and one at 2nd level. The 2nd level one could be inside the subclasses. I noticed that, aside from a expanded spell list, this class doesn't get a feature when choosing the subclass. So, for now is that. Anastacio (talk) 16:56, 19 June 2020 (MDT)
