Talk:Forceful Flash (5e Spell)

Full out blinding seems excessive for a cantrip, especially compared to cantrips like frostbite which only inflict a sliver of what blinding can do. - Guy 08:28, 21 May 2022 (MDT)
- I decided to try tying the blindness to a separate Constitution save. How does it look now? Endermage77 (talk) 19:58, 21 July 2022 (MDT)
- In my opinion it's still far too much for a cantrip. Essentially, on a hit, you cast blindness/deafness on the target—except this cantrip doesn't even require your concentration.
- I think it would be better idea to portray something like limited blindness. 5e doesn't have something quite like the dazzled condition, but maybe something like "disadvantage on sight-based Wisdom (Perception) checks and ranged attack rolls"? - Guy 07:59, 23 July 2022 (MDT)
