Talk:Fallen God (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Response to the Deletion Template[edit]
Deletion seems excessive. This race may not fit the norm, and it would benefit from more polish and standardization (especially omitting expertise with certain weapons), but it is mechanically useable and would fit well enough in a campaign with a large or loose pantheon. Maybe the page could use a design disclaimer, but just deleting the entire page for no stated reason other than you—personally—would not want a race of this flavor in your campaign seems wrong to me.
Frankly, the comparison to Demigod (5e Race) as some kind of standard to be met comes across as very hubristic. Personally, as a DM, I would much sooner allow a playable Fallen God (5e Race) than I would a Demigod (5e Race). - Guy (talk) 13:30, 4 May 2018 (MDT)
- Feel free to add or remove templates as you see fit Guy. If you've got some time from your current project to fix this page up feel free to do so as well :3. This is a wiki, after all, be Bold. While you may have interpreted, my linking of the Demigod (5e Race)'s page to be "very hubristic", it was simply to provide an example of what a completed race that follows a similar theme would look like in practice after all examples are always good when working on a project. --ConcealedLight (talk) 13:11, 5 May 2018 (MDT)
Subclass Additions[edit]
Do you plan on adding Gods from other pantheons, such as Norse or Egyptian? Or would you perhaps switching it to what they are the God of? (God of Love, War, Storms, et cetera) --DevonTheTaylor (talk) 15:47, 26 September 2020 (MDT)
