This is by no means an 8th level spell. Maybe 4th or 5th.

I do not see how this spell would be a 4th or 5th level spell. As far as I'm concerned, the ability to imprison and capture objects or creatures is a powerful ability in it's own right. I'm unsure what exactly would make this spell qualify, but I'd really like to see your reasoning as to why. Cornmage (talk) 17:08, 25 September 2020 (MST)

Compare it to other 8th level spells, like Clone or Power Word Stun. I feel this one doesn't hold up.
