With the nigh-limitless possibilities of magic, do you really just want to do a barely-magical version of what anyone with better physical ability scores can do with a "Metal Weapon"? - Guy 20:11, 20 May 2022 (MDT)

I could've definitely done much more when it came to cleaning up this spell, but I wasn't sure about giving it more vertical strength. The easy solution is to make it any weapon and scale like any other cantrip though.--ThighRash (talk) 20:32, 20 May 2022 (MDT)

Unfortunately I think there's not much one can do without changing the fundamental intent of the spell. The balance seems... well, fine... it's probably best that the damage doesn't scale considering the weapon can still be used with things like Extra Attack, or even other damage cantrips like booming blade.

It just comes off as unimaginative. - Guy 20:58, 20 May 2022 (MDT)
