Talk:Drider (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Hey, I recently changed poisonous bite to work differently. Could somebody take a look to check if this page still needs the balancing tag?
- I reworded the bite attack a bit. The issues in the template are resolved, but there are further problems that I don't have time to look at right now. Marasmusine (talk) 14:10, 15 March 2016 (MDT)
Why can't you ride mounts? A Huge or larger mount would fit a Large creature SirSprinkles (talk) 00:46, 17 March 2016 (MDT)
- It's beneath them (if you excuse the pun). Also too many legs :) Marasmusine (talk) 05:40, 17 March 2016 (MDT)
I've made an adjustment to the Spider Webbing stuff. Not quite sure how to bring the spider climbing to a more balanced state yet. Maybe just a permanent advantage to climbing checks on the walls? As opposed to it just being automatic? And then yiu'd have to make a normal climbing check to climb on the cieling. Just a thought.
Height and Weight Table[edit]
I think traditional weights for Driders tend to be between 250-750lbs.
It isn't extremely important, but consider that the average rolls of your table can produce weights of well over 1100lbs. -Jwguy (talk) 19:32, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
Speed[edit]
I was thinking that with how Driders tend to have eight legs, they should be able to go 40 feet
- Okay, fair enough. Next time use your edit comment to explain your reasoning please. --Green Dragon (talk) 23:53, 18 January 2018 (MST)
