Talk:Dragonclad (5e Subclass)

Per request for review:
- Dragonbolt immediately assumes you have taken firebolt? That's not an automatic cantrip for wizards, last I checked.
- Draconic aid is poorly set up and the whole "cut all stat blocks in half" doesn't work out if you consider things like resistance and the things outside pure damage or ability scores. You should reference the drakewarden for a better example of how to handle this, as the dragon companion has a high chance of being much stronger than anything a wizard can normally summon with spells.
- Draconic destruction gives you double casting AND a breath weapon. For some reason. Breath weapon isn't even written out how it works (is it like dragonborns?). Doublecasting alone is super strong for wizards or any fullcaster.
- Mimicry is busted considering you potentially merge with a CR~8 creature and take on all their stats. What the heck
- A lot of wording issues also present, as well as some spelling. Wording is particularly problematic because it clouds up the feature a bit. More mechanical explanations are needed and the dragon companion needs a thorough retooling particularly.--Yanied (talk) 20:29, 11 July 2023 (MDT)
