Just BSFM's Opinions[edit]
SkillsSince rogue gives 3 skills, then different subclasses give more, I don't see any issue giving the class 2 skills and the subclasses doing 2 skills.
Way of the Voice how are creatures affected by this? Just do and it happens? no....DC? :)
Blessing of Akatosh slightly odd to pair a class feature with ASI. Normally ASIs are the only feature gained at those levels unless its minor.
Battle CryAny creature affected? Teammates? Odd DC too, every DC is increased by proficiency bonus and one, single, ability modifier. 10 minutes is also a high duration. I've tried translating video game material to D&D and this is always an issue. 1 minute would be more appropriate.
The Thief Stone What are the two weapon fighting benefits?
One with the Shadows what does almost invisible mean? Hidden in what state? Is that while hiding in dim or darkness? What prevents a creature from seeing in the darkness that they must roll a saving throw? And again, double ability modifiers
Vision of Magnus So you learn the spell, but don't learn the spell? Or you have to study the spell? I am unsure how this feature works.
'Spell List I know it is being worked on but it stopped at 5th level. Is this intentional? If they cast spells like a wizard does this include ritual and preparing spells?
Hope this is helpful. ~ BigShotFancyMan (talk) 21:16, 8 February 2019 (MST)
Overbearing?[edit]
Jeez, the mage stone sure has a lot of words for a 7th level feature. It should probably just be a much simpler system, like:
- Artificer Infusions(easy and obvious)
- Warlock invocations for weapons(less easy but still kinda works)
- A Bonus granted to a single weapon over a rest, like how EK has the bonded blade. Make it deal X amount of extra damage, or have some other bonus instead. Not up to me.
In my opinion, it could just be handled a lot better. --SwankyPants (talk) 12:30, 8 April 2021 (MDT)
