Can you work on this? I am very interested.

Sure. I'm often fairly preoccupied, so I would much appreciate the assistance. Cornmage 11:00, 9 August 2020 (MST)

This looks great, but I can´t find the Total Concentration Breathing referenced in the Total Concentration Breathing: Constant feature --Amalgamation (talk) 10:21, 30 November 2020 (MST)

That is because the feature is incomplete. I wrote up the feature quite some time ago, but I wasn't sure what the permanent benefits of total concentration breathing would be. I'll see what I can come up with, but for now it is an incomplete feature. Cornmage 13:21, 30 November 2020 (MST)

I enjoy using this very much but you your subclasses don't say how many breath points to use and many of the attacks don't say how they work mechanic wise, like dice or saves. Please add that on, I recommend scaling equally for each form like you did for Water Breathing, also maybe bring back action surge. User:Lowrider93 11:46, 17 January 2021 (PT)

Thank you for editing and improving some of the subclasses, if I may make a suggestion on which ones to work on next, could you pick Flame and Insect? those are some I'm currently using in a campaign.User:Lowrider93 03:52, 17 September 2021 (PT)

Will you be adding a Slayer Mark kind of thing? I would love to see a Slayer Mark feature for the base class, it would be kind of cool to imagine your character resembling a strong slayer from the manga whilst sporting a snazzy tattoo. I know it may sound dumb and you might say "Oh, just say you have this tattoo you ape." but I'd love to just be able to have a special tattoo dedicated to even give you increases to how you fight your opponents in combat or use your breathing to it's upmost potential. i finished up sun breathing, added slayer mark, added crimson red nichirin blades, and added total concentration breathing.

I made my own Demon Slayer class, so if you want to take any inspiration from that or just want a different flavor. It's on a google doc https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ufz_Mp5AK0Z3MqPTcjN2NLcotbbatWpHx-T9SxwzddE/edit

Can you make this more followable or make a guide?[edit]

I am new to homebrew so this is a hard for me. (Especially the class feature modifiers) 8/8/2021 5:22 (CST)

Is it maybe also possible as the lightning style breathing is all about speed it gains a small initative bonus due tothe speed of you attacks? Whenever you do a breathing style. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jdm90life (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

While I understand where you're coming from, pretty much every official feat or feature that increases a player's initiative maxes out at a flat +5 when initiative is rolled, so being able to increase it by +3 every turn is far too large of a bonus.--Ref3rence (talk) 09:28, 20 January 2022 (MST)

i didnt mean for it to gain it every turn but only when you use a breathing attack. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jdm90life (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

And while that's true, a player could effectively use a breathing attack every turn.--Ref3rence (talk) 12:51, 20 January 2022 (MST)

Incomplete Breathing Styles, Breath of Wind, and Moon Blade[edit]

Since there's been a little bit of confusion around the incomplete Breathing Styles in the past, I figured I'd address it here. Immediately below Breath of the Moon, which can be accessed by editing the whole page or the lowest Breathing Style header or Breathing Style feature header, are a handful of incomplete Breathing Styles (at the moment Mist, Flame, Love, Wind, Stone, Insect, Serpent, Sound, Sun) that were commented out so that all visible content on the page could be considered complete, and thus remove the stub. Many Breathing Styles have flavor text for all features, but either lack mechanics, the mechanics are poorly worded, or are lacking multiple features altogether. If you're planning on adding any Breathing Styles to this page, please consider fixing up one of these subclasses first.

As such, the recently added Breath of Wind has been moved above the already commented out incomplete Breath of Wind. You're still free to work on it, and merging the two in some way would be good for everyone involved.

As for Moon Blade, which was recently removed, the intent was clearly for it to be a subclass that required both Muzan Demon and Demon Slayer levels, but how exactly this would work is kind of a mystery. Maybe it would work better as a Blood Demon Art that requires X levels in this class.--Ref3rence (talk) 11:33, 24 January 2022 (MST)

BP per level[edit]

Should the breathing points add constitution or wisdom? I remember at one point it was wisdom. Just wondering about opinions/lore reasons. Discuss under this. Thanks, Taxman (talk) 11:05 AM, 25 January 2022 (EST)
