Talk:Dad (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
I love this class, but I feel like Dad Jokes should play a slightly larger part -wink--Meep (talk) 03:33, 3 April 2018 (MDT)
My goodness, I love this class, and I want it to be great. It's just unfortunate that it has so few features (typically each level should grant a feature). Considering original author Frankg is no longer on the site, I'm going to make a few additions of my own, while modifying as little of their original content as possible. --TheStoryEnthusiast (talk) 19:26, 6 July 2018 (MDT)
I love this class, and, despite the fact that it is an April Fools' page, this could actually work in a real campaign. I just notice two things: 1) there seems to be very few features, and 2) it doesn't mention at which levels each of these benefits are gained. So, if nobody has an objection, I'd like to give a helping hand with this class. --Calibri (talk) 19:40, 16 July 2018 (MDT)
I love the idea of this class, but there are too many things that don't make sense to me, and overall it just feels underpowered. Why does he get a bonus to fire or cold damage when the normal class doesn't deal that type of damage? I was excited when I saw a unique weapon that claimed to be deadly in the hands of a dad, but there is literally no bonus to this weapon, and it is the only one you are allowed to use! I want to like this class, but I can't in its current state. --Nixilis (talk) 09:54, 18 March 2019 (GMT-4)
Subclass[edit]
This class needs a Daddy subclass. Features could include getting armor proficiency (kiss the cook aprons), using strength as charisma or vice versa, and proficiency in car repairs. Varkarrus (talk) 15:13, 18 March 2019 (MDT)
