Talk:Cover Move (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Note to self: need to change page name to fit standard D&D Feat naming conventions
I wonder if this might be better suited as a battle master maneuver? — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 13:08, 26 February 2022 (MST)
- Possibly, I just liked the ideal opened up to characters like paladins aswell! How would you recommend it in that state so it's not so oppressive on a dm to account for assuming as a maneuver it's available more than twice a long rest? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TakoyakiLover (talk • contribs) . - Maneuvers come with a built-in balancing feature in that they're all competing for the same resource. Spamming Cover Move means you have fewer (or no) dice available for Trip Attack, and it also competes with your reaction for Brace, Riposte, or attacks of opportunity. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 15:03, 26 February 2022 (MST)
- Thats an awesome ideal thank you! Now i just gotta figure out where to put that lol thank you for the suggestion TakoyakiLover (talk) 16:50, 26 February 2022 (MST)
- For now I've added it to the Various Addons and Changes page until I or someone else finds a better spot for it, since as far as I can tell there are absolutely no homebrew maneuvers anywhere on the site, at least not that I could find. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 20:06, 2 March 2022 (MST)
