So just... free damage in a bonus action? Seems a bit much to me, especially when we get to 4d8.

Since this is just a cantrip it could be picked up easily by other classes, even, who don't even typically cast spells with their action but still get a really powerful bonus action attack. - Guy 23:40, 14 May 2022 (MDT)

I have adjusted the spell so that it uses an action initially, then you can use a bonus action subsequently. You are limited to "grinding" one gear, and the target can use an action to remove the gear. Better? Marasmusine (talk) 08:59, 27 March 2023 (MDT)
