Talk:Characters Beyond 20th level (5e Variant Rule)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

You linked this as a justification for Shayde. A long way to go. There are some tables that create their own tables to level beyond 20 simply because this goes beyond the scope of 5e. It's not impossible, but, as it is, you will likely have to make new tables for every class. Either or, all classes use a generic table and it all sorta gets mushy mushy. Additionally, these characters will actually have to be able to beat shayde. I hope this isn't just a huge number boost because that's kind of boring. Best of luck.--Yanied (talk) 11:50, 29 October 2021 (MDT)

You're right. I have a long way to go. --Gdd4270 (talk) 14:03, 29 October 2021 (MDT)

The only two ways I can suggest that I know is either the construction of all classes beyond 20th level, or a single generic table that call classes choose from. There's probably better, less generic ways but I haven't put so much thought into it.--Yanied (talk) 15:11, 29 October 2021 (MDT)

I am doing the generic table idea, but it will take a while. --Gdd4270 (talk) 05:55, 31 October 2021 (MDT)

You might want to take a look at this page for pointers.-Yanied (talk) 23:09, 31 October 2021 (MDT)

Working on it. --Gdd4270 (talk) 16:23, 6 November 2021 (MDT)

When i am finished with this, a full party of characters at 60th level with boons and whatnot, and at full power can beat shayde. --Gdd4270 (talk) 16:36, 6 November 2021 (MDT)

Would it be possible to give me more time before Shayde gets deleted? --Gdd4270 (talk) 06:40, 7 November 2021 (MST)
