Challenge Rating

17 Offense (88 damage & 11 hit vs. ~116 & DC 15)

15 Defense (~244 hp & ~18 AC): x1.25 hp from damage resistances; +2 AC from magic resistance

I guessed fire storm would be used to hit three targets. Based on this assumption, the beloved should have a CR of 16 instead of 12. Even if it couldn't cast fire storm, or targeted fewer targets, its CR should still be at least 15. — Guy (talk | edits) 06:14, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Actually, that's my bad. I neglected to consider the beloved can only cast fire storm once in a combat, which does limit its damage output significantly. Considering my error, it would have had at least 15 CR just based on its multiattack, though. With the current version...

10 Defense (~215 hp & ~16 AC): x1.25 hp from damage resistances; +2 AC from magic resistance

13 Offense — 12 (67 dmg & 11 atk on turns 2 and 3); 15 (102 dmg & DR 15 on turn 1)

Assuming I calculated everything right this time, its CR would now be 12 exactly. Good work!

It isn't necessary to do so, but if you wanted, you could bump its AC back up to 16 and it would still be CR 12 now. — Guy (talk | edits) 19:58, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
