wait wouldnt this be under elf subraces?

In regards to the recent templates placed, I believe it is mentioned that while the race is often breeding with drows and fiends that they are originally descended from angels, thus explaining their affinity for light and innate aversion to darkness as well as their tendency to relish their time in the light. think of it as a bad choice of evolution on their part. --Yanied (talk) 07:52, 2 November 2018 (MDT)

That's not edgy and anticipated at all! But on a more serious note, this only creates more questions: How and why would mortal spawn of celestial beings become these things? Why these mortal celestials(aasimar?) would become this race? Why would they breed with fiends/ drow? Why the Underdark? Etc... If I was in your shoes I'd think about conceptually altering the race so that it's less conflicting as this would make be easier than trying to answer these questions. —ConcealedLight (talk) 10:48, 2 November 2018 (MDT)
