Talk:Aarakocra (Pathfinder Race)
From D&D Wiki
Hi, Everyone!
This is EpicBoss99. I wanted to nominate this page for featured for a couple of reasons. Firstly, there aren't many non-5e pages nominated for featured at the moment, and I felt that this page could certainly change that, as there isn't any sort of Pathfinder material on the FA list yet. Secondly, I've received numerous praises for this page on the discord, which gave the the confidence for this nomination today. Finally, I really enjoyed the in-depth and insightful feedback I've received for my stylvix race and hope to receive the same detailed feedback with this page. I've made sure that the flavor text was clear but not over-wordy, made sure that it was balanced by checking it with multiple people in real life, and proofread the page multiple times over the course of several months. Because of this, I feel positive that I would like to nominate this page to be a FA! Thanks, and I can't wait to hear everyone's feedback! :)
Sincerely,

- As very little discussion has occurred in the period since the nomination, I will extend the duration of this nomination by a month. If no consensus has been reached after a month, I will then fail this nomination. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 14:17, 11 June 2019 (MDT)

- As stated above! :) EpicBoss99 (talk) 16:42, 11 December 2018 (MST)
- I'd be happy to see some Pathfinder content featured, and if anything on this wiki is to be featured, it should be this. Very well-done, and it aligns well with Paizo standards. The Advanced Race Guide-esque options don't feel out-of-place. The only things that could improve this article would be suggested names and more favored class options. - I am really happy with the amount of lore there is. I don't think there is too much, nor is lacking. I like the substitute traits one can choose if they wish. I like there's spells and feats included. Suffice to say though, I don't feel comfortable supporting material that is sourced from first party material (Dungeons & Dragons aarakocra). I don't want to say it isn't original work, but I'd like to see a featured article be more original. I don't oppose because it is good work and very thoroughly done. ~ BigShotFancyMan (talk) 11:12, 18 December 2018 (MST)
- Don't know a thing about pathfinder nor how the various standards of the wiki interact with it. So my hands are a bit tied here. —ConcealedLight (talk) 05:55, 2 February 2019 (MST)

- One month to go! ~ BigShotFancyMan 07:39, 15 May 2019 (MDT)
- So what exactly happens after a month? Does the FA nomination just fail? EpicBoss99 (talk) 12:17, 15 May 2019 (MDT)
- I will ask for an extension if more comments are not made. I would prefer more than the author's support for a page. In my opinion, I would fail this with solely your support. ~ BigShotFancyMan 12:34, 15 May 2019 (MDT)
- Yeah, I appreciate that. The problem is that most of this website is 5e-centered, so I really need to find people who mainly play Pathfinder to review this page. EpicBoss99 (talk) 18:04, 17 May 2019 (MDT)
