Talk:3.5e Race Preload

Mistake[edit]
I may have made a mistake here... Green Dragon, can you please help put this as an actual race? I think i did the wrong thing to create it. Nighteye 13:38, 4 March 2007 (MST)
- Got it covered. It's been moved here. I figured something like this would eventually happen, so I've locked the page. —Sledged (talk) 13:39, 4 March 2007 (MST)
- Thanks as well Sledged. Also, locking this is a good move. --Green Dragon 17:49, 4 March 2007 (MST)
Clarity[edit]
Anyone else find it weird that personality comes up before physical description on this preload? Is there a reason for that? It would seem to me that when reading a race, one would want to have a general idea of the shape of the race before learning about personality. I know in the PHB personality comes before physical description, but we all know roughly what the PHB races look like (even never having played D&D) and they do have pictures of the races on previous pages in the PHB. I dunno, it's just something I noticed, and it kinda feels weird to me. --Badger 01:38, 13 January 2011 (MST)
X0[edit]
What does the x0 template actually do? — saint23thomas – 14:16, 6 June 2011 (MDT)
Vitals[edit]
Came across Template:Random Starting Ages, Template:Aging Effects, and Template:Random Heights and Weights on a race page. Is there a reason these aren't implemented on the preload? Unlike the current versions, they have SRD links, and using a template would be much more user friendly (you can replace the whole line instead of having to stop at || or other text). The only difference I can see is that the formatting is slightly different unless the minimize class in tables is equivalent to style="white-space: nowrap;". - That would make a lot more sense, it just wasn't added yet I guess. Just go ahead and add the template if you want. --Green Dragon (talk) 03:25, 12 February 2020 (MST)
