Isn't a courtblade a 2 handed weapon? using a small and tiny one has mad negatives applied. Maybe you want the elven thinblade? --Name Violation 04:41, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Adoption[edit]

I would like to adopt this article. This page is incomplete and, frankly, not very optimized. Normally, i would just make my changes, but my changes will result in the obliteration in most of the original author's work, so I am giving some notice. If there are alot of objections, I'll just make another page. --Ganre 19:45, 23 September 2010 (MDT)

Problems[edit]

first, you cant finesse a longsword, second, dual wieling them has -4 to both hands without oversize twf. use scimitars instead, still slashing damage, actually works. Zau 13:33, 28 October 2010 (MDT)

Also, Dervish gets an attack and damage bonus for using it, switching to scimitars. --Ganre 18:26, 16 November 2010 (MST)
actually, the dmg and atk bonus works on any slashing weopon, so longswords work in that respect, but yeah, scimitars are still much better. Zau 07:40, 25 November 2010 (MST)

Not particularly optimised[edit]

I was working on a dex/int dervish a while ago, but rather than elf and CoCL, I went Thri Kreen (MM2) and Shadow Blade (ToB). Since you deal roughly the same damage with every arm, 4 are better than 2. I believe daggers are the only slashing, light, shadow hand weapons. A level in barbarian or variant druid is needed to get the 65ft. movement needed to make a full Greater Multiweapon Fighting dance. This one isn't bad, mind you, it has better damage output than a straight barbarian (against creatures with discernable anatomy), but with that complicated a build, it better.--edwin 05:35, 30 December 2010 (MST)

While I agree, ToB would make this more "optimized" every DM I've ever tried to sell it to has used another word:BROKEN. Yes, they said it in caps. They said similar things about UA. Also, I feel it's alot more fun to play than a single class barbar. --Ganre 02:40, 25 January 2011 (MST)
