Sword of the Phoenix (5e Equipment)

Weapon (Any sword), Legendary (requires attunement) This sword is the one and only sword of its kind that was made. It was made from the heart and flames of a phoenix. It is said that if any person wields this sword they will be the master of the phoenix. The attuned wielder may change the sword's appearance at will, maintaining the general form of the base weapon. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While the sword does not have flames coming from it, the blade is hot to the touch and anything that touches the sword, other than its attuned wielder and the sheathe that the sword comes in, takes 2d6 fire damage.
