Weapon (Tsurugi), Very Rare (requires attunement by a Samurai of the Water Stance)

Special. The Tsurugi is attuned to the Water Stance. When wielded by a Samurai who has mastered the Water Stance, the katana gains the following benefits:

  • Advantage on Dexterity saving throws.
  • The ability to move across water surfaces as if they were solid ground for a number of rounds equal to the Samurai's proficiency bonus. Once this ability is used, it can only be used again after a short or long rest.
  • You can breathe underwater, have a swimming speed = to your movement speed and you cannot be affected by difficult terrain.
  • Deals an additional 1d10 cold damage against creatures that can breathe underwater and/or have at least half of the creature's body wet.
