Weapon (shortsword), very rare (requires attunement by a creature of chaotic alignment)

A sword that randomly shifts from one magical property to the next. Who knows what effect you'll get!

The sword appears to be a mundane hilt. As a bonus action a creature can press the hidden button on the bottom of the hilt revealing a blade of pure light. Attacks made with this weapon deal radiant damage instead of slashing damage. The sword's radiant blade emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20-feet.

Random Size. With each passing day the size of the blade varies. Roll a d3 to determine what size the blade is. No other feature is changed by the roll except the damage done by this sword.

1. Shortsword. This sword deals 1d6 radiant damage.

2. Longsword. This sword deals 1d8 radiant damage.

3. Greatsword. This sword deals 2d6 radiant damage.

Random Properties. With each passing week the sword changes form and its properties are rerolled. When you activate this sword for the first time on a new week roll a d100 to determine this weapon’s new properties.
