Sword of Fire and Ice (5e Equipment)

Weapon (Longsword), Legendary (Requires Attunement) The Sword of Fire and Ice is a silver long sword with an golden edge. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, which deals an additional 2d10 cold damage and 2d10 fire damage on a hit. As a bonus action you may speak the command word you assign once attuning to the sword to cause the silver part of the sword to visibly freeze and the golden edge to erupt in flames. This effect lasts for one minute and during this minute any creature hit with the sword takes an additional d6 of both fire and cold damage. Once the effect ends it cannot be used until after a long rest has been taken.
