Swallow Whole Variant (5e Variant Rule)
From D&D Wiki
Swallow Whole Variant[edit]
Reason For This[edit]
Some people have loads of HP but terrible weapons, because they are that lucky or they have a DM that does not give many good magical weapons out. Those people will sit in the monster's stomach until the monster dies or the character dies. That is not fun for anyone. Implement these rules into your campaign to make it more reasonable.
Rules[edit]
The rules vary depending on the CR of the monster that swallowed the character.
