Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)

A crown worn by the disgraced nobles of an ancient civilization that gave them terrible nightmares in exchange for great mental prowess. The crown appears to be made a glimmering black metal, accented with several deep grey pearls. carvings of horrific creatures are engraved into it, and staring at them to long makes them feel that one would lose their sanity should they stare to deeply.

Cursed Wisdom. The wearer of the crown gains a +1 bonus to their Wisdom and Intelligence scores, however every time they attempt to take a long rest they must make a DC 15 Charisma saving throw or be plagued by terrible nightmares, preventing them from gaining the benefits of the rest.

Mental Fortitude. The wearer of the crown can completely negate the damage of any attack that deals psychic damage. Once used, this item regains use of this property at dawn.
