Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a spellcaster) This item appears to be two steel hair-sticks, interlocked by a section of short chain. A small steel ball dangles from one, and the other holds a small blacksmith’s puzzle. This item holds 6 charges, and can only be recharged by expending spell slots. In addition to this effect, this item has the following additional properties. Reserved Magic As a bonus action, you may spend any amount of charges to recover a spell slot equal to the amount of charges spent. Additionally, as a bonus action, you may spend a spell slot to gain an amount of charges equal to the level of the spell, up to 6th. Empowered Spells Your spells deal increase damage equal to the number of charges held by this item. Negate Magic This item allows you to spend 3 or more charges to cast counterspell as a reaction to seeing a spell cast. You cast this spell at a level equal to the number of charges used and the spell using your spellcasting ability modifier.
