Cost: 30,000 gp A Steel Steam Powered Engine used for the task of farming or powering implements. It is 25 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 15 feet tall.It is fuelled using either wood, coal, oil, or certain types of magical fire. This tractor can hold 3 tons of coal or wood, or 940 gallons of oil, and can hold 600 gallons of water. Per 200 lbs of coal (10 gp for Bituminous, 200 gp for anthracite) 600 lb firewood (6 sp), or per 30 gallons of oil (24 gp), It will run for 1 hour of use. It's primary use is on roads, fields, and mildly hilly terrain, on which it does a maximum of 6 mph. Vehicle will move up to 17 tons, by ploughing, or pulling Carts while at low speed of 2 mph or less. Vehicle requires 1 engineer, 1 stoker, and can hold up to 2 passengers in the cabin. Stoker is not required when the engine is oil tank fed. The firebox can be filled with fuel to start. Steam engine takes 30 minutes to get up to temp except when order fire is used, which can be heated up to temp in 10 minutes. This vehicle will explode if the vehicle runs out of water or the boiler is critically damaged, causing 10d6 damage to all entities within a 20 foot radius of the boiler, unless they make a 23 dexterity saving throw, at which point damage is halved. |
