Splash (5e Variant Rule)
From D&D Wiki
All splash weapons are either ranged thrown weapons, or pieces of ammunition used in ranged weapons.
On a hit with a splash weapon, the weapon (or ammunition) is destroyed, and you don't add any ability modifier to the damage roll. Any other creature within 5 feet of the hit target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or also suffer the splash weapon's damage. If you're proficient with the weapon, this saving throw is made against your Dexterity DC. If you're not proficient, the DC is 10.
