Spellcaster's Friend (5e Equipment)

Weapon (any weapon), rare (+1), very rare (+2), or legendary (+3) (requires attunement by a spellcaster) You gain a bonus to attack and damage rolls determined by this weapon's rarity, and can use your spellcasting ability instead of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for attack and damage rolls made with the weapon. You can use this weapon as a spellcasting focus, and are considered proficient with this weapon even if you lack proficiency. This weapon deals an extra 2d6 force damage, and you have resistance to force damage. You gain additional spell slots based on the rarity of this weapon: one 1st and 2nd-level spell slot (rare), one 3rd and 4th-level spell slot (very rare), one 5th and 6th-level spell slot (legendary).
