Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
A sudden, distant song which instills a longing for the sea, similar to that of a siren is played. Choose any number of targets, those chosen targets must make an Intelligence saving throw, on a failed save, the target immediately starts moving toward the nearest large body of water that it can find and attempts to completely submerse itself in the water, choosing the safest route and fighting defensively
The target will only fight if someone actively attempts to prevent it from following through with its search for the ocean; if this fight is with an ally, the target is granted a second saving throw to throw off the effects of the spell.
If there is no body of water visible to those affected, then they wander aimlessly in one direction until the spell ends. Once the targets of the spell are in the water, they begin swimming toward the deepest part of it they can reach, immersing themselves completely and refusing to come up for air, though they hold their breath as long as they are able unless they can breathe in water. The target of the spell can repeat the intelligence saving throw every round.
