Silver Force Bowstring (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, rare
A magical bowstring salvaged from a broken monster slayer bow.
Made of pale silver strands of an unknown mystical creature, this bowstring can be attached to any long or short bow by magically increasing or reducing its size to fit.
The bowstring holds 5 charges, and replenishes 1d4 +1 charges after a long rest. Once per turn, you can choose to expend a single charge to add an extra 1d8 force damage to the shot on a hit. If you choose to add 2 charges and hit, on top of the 1d8 force damage you cause a large or smaller creature to be knocked back 10 feet if they fail a DC 14 dexterity save, and only 5 feet on a successful save. Any arrow shot through a bow affixed with this string is imbued with the silvery magic of the string and is considered silvered ammunition.
It takes a short rest to affix the string to a bow.
