Weapon (greatclub), Rare (Requires attunement)

More like a club than a blade, this weapon is covered in explosive tags. On a hit, this weapon deals 2d8 magical bludgeoning damage, and attack rolls with this weapon have a +1 bonus. The weapon has an amount of explosive tags inside it equal to half your level (rounded down), and regain 1 at the end of each minute. You can expend the tags using the options below:

  • When you hit with an attack, you can expend up to two tags to deal an extra 1d8 thunder or fire damage for each tag.
  • When you hit with an attack for 1 tag, 6d10 hit points of creatures within 30 feet, starting with the ones with the lowest hit points ignoring unconscious creatures, are blinded for 1 minute. You may increase the number of hit points effected by 1d10 per additional tag spent. They may attempt a Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending this effect early on a success. This counts as a Path of the Assassin unique jutsu for the sake of affinity, and as a jutsu for the sake of modification.
  • As a bonus action for 1 tag, you create one explosive seal.
