Shadow Phoenix[edit]
Large monstrosity (shikigami), unaligned Armor Class 17 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Dex +8, Cha +6 Cursed Energy. The Shikigami has 20 cursed energy which he can use to fuel his abilities. All of his cursed energy is replenished when he makes a long rest. Cursed Energy Recovery. The Shikigami regains 1 cursed energy at the beginning of his turns. This cannot go above it's maximum. Invisible Force. The Shikigami is entirely made out of cursed energy, meaning it cannot be seen by normal people. Creatures without levels in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class or who cannot see into the ethereal plane cannot see it. Although, if these creatures were in a life and death situation (less than half their maximum hit points), they gain the ability to see the Shikigami. Keen Sight. The Shikigami has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. Flyby. The Shikigami does not provoke opportunity attacks when flying out of the reach of enemies. Evasion. When the Shikigami is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to only take half damage, it instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails. Night Camouflage. The Shikigami can take the Hide action anywhere as long as it is in dim light or darkness, and it also has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks in these areas. The shikigami also benefits from this anywhere within the area of a Curtain. ACTIONSMultiattack. The Shikigami makes two attacks, one with its Beak and one with it's Talons. Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6+5) piercing damage. Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6+5) slashing damage. Shadow Portals (4 Cursed Energy). The Shikigami creates a shadowy portal in the space of a creature of up to Huge size that it can see within 120 ft., teleporting it to another location within the same range that it can see, in which another portal opens. Both portals immediatly close at the end of the Shikigami's turn. This ability only works on an enemy creature if the Shikigami succeeds on a Dexterity (Stealth) check contested by the target's Passive Perception or Wisdom (Perception) check. A willing creature can automatically fail the check. The portals may only be created in areas of dim light or darkness, or anywhere inside the area of a Curtain. BONUS ACTIONSShadow Portal. The Shikigami uses a Shadow Portal. REACTIONSShadow Portal (4 Cursed Energy). As a Reaction to itself or an ally that it can see being targeted by an attack or damaging saving throw, that it can also see, the Shikigami uses a portal to teleport the itself or it's ally to a new location within range, thus making the attack or effect miss. |
Feats. The shikigami has the following feats: Not Canon The Shadow Phoenix shikigami is not an official shikigami demonstrated in the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise, it was completely made up by the people working behind this supplement. It is intended to populate campaigns in an absence of enough official material, and as such was properly balanced for any DM to use in their Jujutsu Campaign. |
