Wondrous item, Uncommon (requires attunement by a Hexblade Warlock) This eerie lantern hangs from a chain, designed to be worn at your waist. Despite its seemingly mundane appearance, it gives off no light—only an unsettling, shadowy aura, as a fragment of the Hexblade’s power resides within it. When you utter a dark incantation as an action, its gate opens, and a wave of dark energy bursts forth, surrounding you in flame-like shadows and casting the Shadow of Moil spell without expending a spell slot. The spell lasts for 1 minute, and you gain its benefits as normal. Once used, this ability cannot be used again until after a short rest. |
