Weapon (cutlass), very rare (requires attunement)

The man carried a sword in each hand, both slightly curved near the tip. The crossguards on each of the blades were straight across, signifying that the blade was that of fine work. The man could cross his swords and scrape them against one another, making each blade take on a faint reddish hue. The blades could then electrify the air around the man, allowing the man to strike lightning quick and if the swords were banged against each other, a sound akin to thunder would be produced.

You gain a +1 to attack and damage rolls made with this magical weapon.

  • Might of the Storm: When you speak this weapon's command word, the blade begins to crackle with lightning, making it deal an additional 1d6 lightning damage on hit.
  • Thunderous Strike: If you critically strike with a melee attack with this weapon, you can choose to knock the Large or smaller creature prone with a large thunderclap along the blade.

When holding this weapon, you are immune to lightning damage, as the sword draws lightning to itself instead.
