Samesword (5e Equipment)

Weapon (longsword), legendary (major) (attunement optional) This plain steel longsword has no remarkable design save for a symbol on the crossguard that means "duplication". While you wield this magical sword, you can use a bonus action to cause it to assume the form of a melee weapon you can see within 60 feet. While it is transformed into that weapon, the samesword acquires all statistics and properties of the weapon it has transformed into. This transformation lasts until you command the samesword to return to its original form as a bonus action, or if you cause it to transform into another weapon. If the samesword transforms into a magical weapon that requires attunement, you can only use those properties of the weapon if you are attuned to the samesword.
