Uncommon

+2 Ruby of the War Mage[edit]
Rare
While holding the weapon the ruby is attached to, you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your spells. Additionally, the weapon becomes a magic weapon and gains a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. If applied to a magic weapon with an existing bonus, it replaces the weapon's bonus if the ruby's bonus is greater; otherwise, the bonuses do not stack.

Spell-Storing Ruby of the War Mage[edit]
Rare
In addition to functioning as a ruby of the war mage, this item also has the same properties as a ring of spell storing.

Common (cantrip-1st level), uncommon (2nd-3rd level), rare (4th-5th level), very rare (6th-8th level), legendary (9th level)
The ruby contains knowledge of a single spell of a level determined by its rarity. While attuned to the ruby, you know the spell and it doesn't count against your spells known or prepared.
