Rings of Decimation Denied (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Ring, legendary (requires attunement) Once upon a time, there was a lich artificer that feared for their unlife. To safeguard it, they tried forging their phylactery into a ring. That project blew up in their face metaphorically and blew up their volcanic lair literally, but they learned enough to forge a set of ten stable rings with better outcomes, but in doing so they forget to feed their new phylactery and became a demilich without any fingers. Since that flawed birth, the decade of rings have been scattered across the multiverse, yet yearning to be reunited. The Rings of Decimation Denied are a set of ten identical, plain adamantine bands that can’t be targeted by any divination magic or perceived through magical scrying sensors. Each individual ring gives you resistance to a type of damage, advantage on saving throws against a condition, and teaches you a cantrip while attuned to it. See the table below. Constitution is your spellcasting ability score for all the cantrips and you can cast all of them without material components. Additionally, while attuned to and wearing one of the Rings of Decimation Denied, you automatically detect the direction of any other Ring of Decimation Denied within 10 feet of you. Once you are attuned to at least one of the Rings of Decimation Denied, you automatically attune to any of the other rings when you put them on. All rings you are attuned to count as a single magical item. If you are attuned to and wearing all ten of the Rings of Decimation Denied, you gain resistance to non-adamantine bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage and advantage on all saving throws against damage in addition to each ring’s normal properties. Curse. Each ring is cursed. Attuning to this item curses you until you are targeted by a remove curse spell or similar magic. You become unwilling to remove the ring, keeping it on your digit at all times. Any attempts to remove the ring are impossible without cutting off the attached appendage. While attuned to any of the Rings of Decimation Denied, you gain a flaw based on the ring. See the table below. When you are attuned to all ten of the Rings of Decimation Denied, all of these flaws become permanent and may only be removed by a wish. Doing so ends attunement with all of the rings.
