Ring of Invisibility: At first, this item appears to be a normal Ring of Invisibility. Upon further inspection, however, (involving a Spellcraft check against DC 27) it is revealed that, should a wearer activate the ring, they and all items on their person would become permanently invisible; even upon removal of the ring, they remain invisible not only to others but to themselves.

They retain a sense of their own location if they possess a Wisdom score of at least 11, but if not they become disoriented and effectively dazed for as long as they remain invisible.

They cannot see themselves (though they still cast a shadow) unless employing the effects of a see invisibility or true seeing spell or similar effect.

The only way for someone who activates the ring to become visible (including any items on their person that are also invisible) is by a break enchantment or similar spell or effect. Unlike other items that the wearer sets down, should the activater of the ring lose contact with said ring, the ring becomes visible once again until worn by another person, at which point it affects that person in the same manner.
