Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Red-Eyes Insight. All attacks made by the dragon do an extra 1d8 necrotic damage for each dragon creature in the red-eyes lair up to a maximum of +9d8 damage

Return Of The Red-Eyes. The dragon is revived as red-eyes zombie dragon 1d8+1 days after being killed.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 3) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Black Fire Bullet (Recharge 5-6). The dragon exhales a ball of dark flames that flies 70ft and explodes in a 20ft radius. Each creature in that radius must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 28 (7d8) necrotic and 16 (4d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.


LEGENDARY ACTIONS

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Stomping Destruction. The dragon makes a claw attack.
Wingbeat of Giant Dragon (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or take 10 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
Inferno Fire Blast (Costs 3 Actions). The dragon uses Black Fire Bullet if available.

A powerful dragon born after the violent death of a Red-Eyes, this dragon is known for ruling over lesser species of dragons and especially its Red-Eyes relatives. Fittingly for its nature and place in draconic heirarchy the Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon grows stronger as the other dragons around it die as well.
