Ray Gun (5e Equipment)

Wonderous Item, Uncommon Made in various sizes and shapes, equally vast among the intelligent races, Ray Guns are the tools for those who don't have Ki, capable of causing just as much destruction to those who do. Many aliens and other extraterrestrial beings possess these weapons easily and there are few places on earth where such weapons exist, but it's not impossible for them to be made by earthlings. Ray Gun is as a Simple Ranged Weapon and a Creature can make a Ranged Attack against a target within 60fts of it, this attack use Dextery Modifier and deals 1d8 of Force Damage. The Ray Gun have 5 Energy Points that can be used for the effects below, any spend Energy Point return in a long rest. A Creature that is holding the Ray Gun, have the following effects:
Mechanical. Ray Guns aren't magical, but mechanical and therefore are not effected by anti-magic fields but effected by anything that stops devices from functioning. Custom Ray Guns/Above Uncommon. As the creative potential of the Ray Gun is very great and it has been shown that technologically, a lot can be done that resembles Martial Artist Techniques. A GM can choose to raise the Ray Gun's rarity rank and/or provide it with more techniques, following these guidelines: Rare = 6 Energy Points, can only have up to +1 effect of a Technique of up to Basic rank. Very Rare = 7 Energy Points, can only have up to +1 effect of a Technique of up to Advanced rank. Legendary = 8 Energy Points, can only have up to +2 effect of a Technique of up to Advanced rank. |
