Rage Talisman (5e Equipment)
Wondrous item, rare (+1), very rare (+2), legendary (+3) (requires attunement by barbarian) Some of those that master their inner rage seek to pass on their fury, often down their bloodlines, by imparting a portion of it into tokens or totems with the help of shamans and witch doctors. While a rage talisman can come in any accessory form, most often they are thick, tiny tablets forged of strong, heavy metals such as steel or lead on adamantine chains to withstand the pummeling their wearers tend to take. You gain a bonus to your maximum number of rages. While raging, you gain a bonus to your Ac, Strength ability checks and saving throws, and Rage Damage bonus. The bonus is determined by the talisman's rarity. This item also has a number of charges equal to its bonus and it regains all expended charges daily at dawn. While you are raging, if you fail a saving throw to avoid being incapacitated or restrained, you can use your reaction to expend a charge and reroll the saving throw with advantage. |
