Rage Mage

Prerequisites: Spellcasting or Pact magic feature, Rage feature
Repeating the components of several spells in your head like a mantra, you use the primal fury you possess to twist the Weave with raw emotion. You gain the ability to cast and concentrate on certain spells while raging. However, there are some alterations:

  • You must specially prepare the spells you can use while raging. This is a process that takes 1 minute where you can select a number of spells equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1). These spells must be ones which you have prepared or are already able to cast normally.
  • You must make an Intelligence saving throw instead of a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration on spells while raging.
  • Your rage damage bonus is added to the damage rolls of any spells you cast while raging.
  • Casting a spell on a hostile creature or using a spell to deal damage to a hostile creature counts as attacking a hostile creature for the purposes of maintaining your rage.
