Radiance (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement) Radiance is a shining, golden longsword with intricate engravings that seem to glow in the presence of darkness. The weapon was created by a powerful cleric who wished to spread the light of their deity across the land. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. Additionally, it has the Finesse property. Mimic Class Features.Radiance has the ability to mimic class features of your choice equal to your Charisma modifier. This means that while wielding Radiance, you gain access to abilities typically reserved for other classes. For example, if your Charisma modifier is +3, you can choose up to three class features from any class, and Radiance will grant you those abilities. You can change the chosen class features during a long rest. Blessing of the Light.Radiance radiates a bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. You and your allies have advantage on saving throws against being frightened while within the bright light. Additionally, you can use an action to cast the daylight spell (no material components required) once per long rest. Sentience.Radiance is a sentient lawful good weapon with the Intelligence of 18, Wisdom of 18, and Charisma of 20. It communicates telepathically with its wielder and can speak, read, and understand all languages. It has a calm and reassuring voice. 'Personality.Radiance is fiercely loyal to its wielder and the ideals of goodness and justice. It seeks to vanquish evil wherever it may be found and will stop at nothing to achieve this goal. The weapon is patient and methodical in battle, always seeking to gain the upper hand and protect its allies. Alter Weapon.Radiance has the ability to change its shape and become a different weapon entirely. It takes on the new weapon's stats but retains its magical properties. Regardless of its new form, Radiance will always deal an additional 1d10 radiant damage that ignores immunity and resistances. |
