Quincygun (5e Equipment)

Weapon (Martial Ranged Weapon), Legendary (Requires attunment by someone of the Quincy class.) They are created through a Quincy's innate ability to gather and shape ambient Reishi particles using their own Reiryoku, or spiritual power. At their core, Spirit Weapons serve the same purpose as a Shinigami's Zanpakutō - to fight Hollows. The Quincygun is not like other firearms, as it uses Reiatsu bullets made from a Quincy's Reiryoku/Reishi. The Quincygun does not require ammunition, but instead takes a Quincy's Reiryoku/Reishi. To fire this weapon, spend one Reiryoku/Reishi point and deal 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier Piercing or Force damage, but not both, as bullets of Reiatsu fire out of the barrel for 80/320 feet. For each additional Reiryoku/Reishi point you spend, you can fire the weapon again, dealing another 1d8 + Wisdom modifer damage, but it counts as a separate attack. If you have an Extra Attack feature, using more Reiryoku/Reishi points doesn't take your second attack. You can use up to a maximum of 3 points per attack. Additionally, you can use your Wisdom modifier as your attack bonus instead of Strength or Dexterity. Additionally, for flair, you can choose the appearance of the gun, and the color of the bullets. |
