Quaggoth Thonot[edit]

The longer a quaggoth occupies the Underdark, the more psionic energy it passively accumulates. While this is most noticeable at its peak, with full-fledged thonots leading their tribes like shamans, even younger quaggoth manifest this power unconsciously to bolster their ferocity.

Class Features[edit]

As a Quaggoth Thonot you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d8 per Quaggoth Thonot level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 8 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + Constitution modifier per Quaggoth Thonot levelafter 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: shields
Weapons: simple weapons
Tools: None
Saving Throws: Strength, Constitution
Skills: Choose two skills from Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Athletics, Insight, Intimidation, Perception, Stealth, and Survival

Poison Immunity[edit]

At 1st level, you become immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.

Wounded Hunter[edit]

At 2nd level, your psionic power manifests most fully while in the face of death. While you have 10 hit points or fewer, you have advantage on attack rolls.

Quaggoth Fury[edit]

At 3rd level, while you are under the effects of Wounded Hunter, you deal an extra 2d6 damage to any target you hit with a melee attack.

Ability Score Increase[edit]

When you reach 4th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Extra Attack[edit]

Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Thonot[edit]

At 6th level, your psionic powers manifest fully. You learn the feather fall and mage hand cantrips, and the cure wounds, enlarge/reduce, heat metal, and mirror image spells. After casting a spell with this feature, you can not cast the spell again until the end of your next long rest.

Spellcasting Ability

An ability score was not entered for this template! is your spellcasting ability for your thonot spells, since the power of your magic relies on your natural psionics. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a sorcerer spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Spellcasting Focus

You can use an arcane focus as a spellcasting focus for your thonot spells.

Multiclassing[edit]

Prerequisites. To qualify for multiclassing into the quaggoth thonot class, you must meet these prerequisites: Strength 13

Proficiencies. When you multiclass into the quaggoth thonot class, you gain the following proficiencies: Athletics
