Prostitution is the business of engaging in sexual activity in exchange for payment. These sexual activities usually involve physical contact, but numerous other services have been involved as a substitute with the creative use of mind-altering magic, hallucinogens, and some forms of non-physical activities to sexually stimulate customers and cater to a variety of racial, spiritual or fetishistic needs. Often known as the 'oldest profession in the world', many sorts of different individuals have come to work in this profession, of which its legal status depends on place to place. Due to the nature of the profession and the activity involved, the work and its workers are stigmatized in the eyes of the public, with a lot of workers taking great care to hide their identities and their involvement in other to better fit into society.

Depending on the region's wealth and the common economic status of the people in the region, the quality of prostitution can vary from place to place and may be host to various unique STD's that may be unique to the region itself. The level of service can range from wretched, poor, common, experienced, modest, comfortable, or wealthy.

Wretched Prostitute

These truly wretched and desperate souls are those willing to give up body and dignity just to survive. Usually desperate for some form of income to supplement their meager living, prostitutes of this variety while are desperate for a few coins, they still have some form of dignity and are either physically capable in doing manual labor or have an applicable skill that they use to feed themselves of some other form of employment. They are usually found in the streets or in the rooms of disreputable brothels working to get themselves a bit more money. Their appearance usually ranges from poor to average, but their services can widely vary from to poor to above average as some have come to gain experience in the service. Contracting diseases from their services is still a common occurrence due to the unhygienic conditions these people work in.

Common Prostitute

Often found in lower quality taverns or brothels, prostitutes of this variety are a large step from the previous as these people have come to work in the profession full time and are skilled enough to earn themselves somewhat of a decent living with a stable income with prostitution alone. Their appearances are usually average to above average but it is common with those who have poor looks to be present thanks to their experience in the profession. Their service usually ranges from below average to high average thanks to their skill and experience in the trade. Thankfully, contracting diseases from the services of these men and women are much less common and even uncommon thanks to the possibility of proper hygiene.

Experienced Prostitute

Often found in certain inns and brothels of decent repute, prostitutes of this variety are those who have managed to stay long in the profession and many have reputations of which attracts clienteles to them without effort though they can still be found approaching potential customers in the streets and in their workplaces, with most usually working for a salary. Their appearances are usually above average to high average though some can even be said to have excellent looks. Their services usually ranges from high average to excellent thanks to their skill, experience, and the decent decorum and reputation of their own workplaces. It is because of their close proximity to royalty, most prostitutes of these class are usually men and women of significant charm with the intelligence to back it, with them often times employed as spies or even assassins. Their appearances are usually the subject of many songs throughout many place while rumors and speculations of their services consider them to be akin to those of the gods. Contracting diseases from their services is non-existent thanks to the availability and priority of proper hygiene and medicine and their very limited number of clientele.
